I have just finished work on a new viral for the release of the Nokia N8 phone - check it out.

To answer W+K London's brief for the soundtrack, I worked with a percussionist friend of mine, Nick Smalley. Together we spent a couple of afternoons trying various ideas out, recording anything we could find in his collection of instruments, including spoons and a cheese grater! I took the recordings back to my studio to edit and shape the final track, adding a cheeky bassline to finish it off.

I have just finished a couple of new tunes for Nickelodeon. The first was for a Nick Junior brand commercial, and Jon Preston the producer had a pretty good idea of what he wanted. It was a really quick turnaround, but I am pretty happy with it, so have a listen!

The other track, for a Dora the Explorer trailer, was half 'world' drums, and half 'upbeat' latin, featuring Joe Auckland on trumpet and myself on trombone/programmed pianos/drums etc. Check it out here.

A radio commercial I edited and mixed has won the quarterly Aerial award again, that's two Aerials in a row! Created to advertise the ITV election debate, it featured the three main party leaders all speaking in turn to advertise the televised discussions. My task was to edit a script provided by BBH by cutting up footage from the leaders' party conferences, editing previously non-existent sentences and making words from bits of words... it was a right fiddle, so have a listen to the result!

I have been working on a sound design album / toolkit for a well known label with my friend Ian Chattam, it's currently being mastered and we can't wait for it's release. As soon as it's out I will have more to say plus some finished examples, but here's a taster for the time being!
